The Olde Savannah Finish (SM) is a proprietary finishing technique that combines a unique, one-of-a-kind finishing application of multiple coats of natural, hand-rubbed oils, waxes and custom blended colors. Some of our products have up to 6 – 8 coats of layered colors.

We almost never use a polyurethane finish – only if our customers demand it – even then, we usually show them the benefits of the Olde Savannah Finish(SM). That’s because when you invest in something very special, it should be treated that way. Think about your finest furniture, it would never be finished with polyurethane!

Our finish provides a virtually maintenance free floor, requiring light oiling periodically, and should never require refinishing. The look and the finish of our floors is what usually sells a customer on Olde Savannah, but the real beauty is in how long they last and how little upkeep is required.
